Dear Principals and School Leaders,
Following strong interest across the sector, Community Languages Victoria (CLV) has now secured and coordinated a series of First Aid and CPR training sessions for Term 2.
These sessions are delivered by a nationally recognised training provider (CPR First Aid) and have been centrally organised by CLV to ensure accessibility, consistency, and quality for community language schools.
Important Note on Pricing
These courses are not free. However, CLV has negotiated discounted group rates to make the training as accessible as possible:
• CPR (HLTAID009): $90 per participant
• First Aid + CPR (HLTAID011): $130 per participant

• CPR: 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM
• First Aid + CPR: 12:00 PM – 3:15 PM
Sunday 24 May 2026
• CPR: 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM
• First Aid + CPR: 12:00 PM – 3:15 PM

Each session is strictly limited to 24 participants.
Please note: The First Aid course (HLTAID011) already includes CPR. If you are booking this course, you do not need to book the CPR (HLTAID009) session separately.

Important Information
- A valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) is required to receive certification. More information on how to retrieve your USI will be sent to registered participants.
- Online theory must be completed prior to attending the face-to-face session
- Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis
- To confirm numbers with the training provider, bookings are final once confirmed (participant substitutions are permitted with notice)
- CLV reserves the right to consolidate sessions if required to meet minimum participant numbers. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative session date or a transfer option.
These sessions have already received strong interest, and we anticipate they will fill quickly.
If your school is planning to register multiple staff, we encourage you to book early to secure places in your preferred session.
