Dear Principals, School Administrators, and Teachers,
We've just finished our recent series of workshops which were a Refresher Update on Implementing the New Child Safe Standards. Many of you have taken this refresher, and now it's time to offer more sessions.
Neda Erjaei, our Child Safety & Compliance Officer, has opened up some new training dates for:
1) the 3-Hour Mandatory Training that every new Principal, Child Safe Officer, Teacher, Staff, or Volunteer must attend
2) a 2-Hour Review Update on the New Child Safe Standards
As you are aware, one of the accreditation requirements is to be in compliance with Child Safety Standards and Mandatory Obligations.
Your school needs to demonstrate compliance and have all the policies and procedures in place by submitting the "Self-Audit Tool 2023" document and by having your staff complete the mandatory Child Safe Training offered by CLV.
CLV is offering the following upcoming training sessions:
All sessions are online and start at 6:00 PM
- Tuesday, 8 August: 3-Hour Mandatory Training for New Teachers and Volunteers
- Tuesday, 15 August: 2-Hour Review and Update 11 Child Safe Standards
- Wednesday, 16 August: 2-Hour Review and Update 11 Child Safe Standards
- Tuesday, 22 August: 3-Hour Mandatory Training for New Teachers and Volunteers
- Tuesday, 5 September: 3-Hour Mandatory Training for New Teachers and Volunteers
If you have any NEW staff members, or if your teachers have not yet taken the 3-hour mandatory training, please have them register for the Mandatory training.
If your staff members have already taken the mandatory training and want a refresher update, please have them register for the Review and Update training.
