Dear Principals,
We're pleased to advise that the VMIA insurance program for funded community language schools has been renewed for the period covering 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024.
The insurance renewal documents are now available in the VMIA Portal. CLS must log into the portal using the registered email as your username.
If you're not yet registered for portal access, please click here to start the process.
Please note: To enhance security, the VMIA team added multi-factor authentication on the portal. When you log in, you’ll be sent an authentication code via email, which you’ll need to enter to gain portal access.
Your policies are funded by the Department of Education (DE), providing you with a range of general insurance cover for your business activities. More details regarding the specific policies and programs are available here.
Note: Your eligibility to the Community Service Organisation (Education) Program insurance products is provided as part of your funding arrangements through DE. In the event that these funding arrangements change and you are no longer entitled to VMIA cover, VMIA will be notified by DE. We will notify you of the cessation of cover with 30 days notice to ensure you have time to put alternative arrangements in place.
What you need to do:
- Refer to the Community Service Organisation (Education) suite of insurance policies.
- Familiarise yourself with the policies’ terms and conditions.
- Keep your portal login details handy. For evidence of your cover, you can access and download your policy documents from the portal at any time.
