Dear Community Language School Principals, Coordinators and Leaders,
Community Languages Victoria invites every community language school to participate in this year's Global Voices: The Community Languages Multicultural Festival, presented by CLV in partnership with Nestoras College Ltd.

We are expecting to welcome more than 5,000 people for a major celebration of Victoria’s community languages, cultures and communities. The festival will feature performances by community language schools, cultural stalls, food, arts and crafts, children’s activities and opportunities for community connection.
Why your participation matters
With the Victorian state election taking place shortly after the festival, Global Voices provides a timely opportunity to demonstrate the size, diversity and contribution of Victoria’s community language sector.
We are pleased that representatives of both the Victorian Labor and Liberal parties, together with the Mayor of Darebin, have confirmed their attendance.
A strong collective presence will help demonstrate the vital contribution community language schools make to language preservation, cultural identity, social cohesion and Victoria’s multicultural character.
We encourage every school to:
- Participate in the festival;
- Promote Global Voices within its school and wider community;
- Encourage students and families to attend; and
- Help identify potential sponsors and supporters.

We also need your support through sponsorship. The following opportunities remain available:
- Stage 1 Sponsor ($10,000): exclusive naming rights + premium Stage 1 branding
- Stage 2 Sponsor ($8,000): exclusive naming rights + strong Stage 2 branding
- Gold Sponsor ($5,000)
- Silver Sponsor ($3,000)
- Bronze Sponsor ($1,000)
Please consider whether your school, community organisations, local businesses or other supporters may be interested in becoming a sponsor. You can also help by forwarding the attached sponsorship prospectus to suitable organisations within your community.
