Dear CLS Principals and Leaders,

On behalf of the Community Languages Victoria (CLV) Team, I extend our warmest wishes to you and your school community for a successful and prosperous year ahead.

The CLV Office is now back in action, and we’re excited to support you throughout the 2025 school year. Please let us know if there have been any updates to your school’s contact details. As always, feel free to reach out if you need assistance, have any questions, or would like to share feedback.

Here's what to look out for in the coming days and weeks as we kick off the new year:

CLV Membership 2025
  • Membership renewal information will be available soon. Stay tuned for details.

CLV Survey
  • A reminder about the CLV survey will be sent shortly. Your input is valuable to us!

2025 CLS Funding
  • CLV will host two information sessions in February to assist with preparing your grant applications. Details and registration links will be shared soon.
Accreditation Outcome
  • The Department is finalising the 2025-2027 accreditation process. Most schools will receive their outcomes within the next week, with the remainder notified by early February.
Audit Outcome
  • The 2024 audit process is nearing completion, and notifications regarding outcomes and any required rectifications will be sent by the end of January.
VCAA Authorisation
  • The VCAA is currently issuing authorisation letters to SSLP schools that have successfully completed the process.
Professional Learning Activities
  • Information about Semester 1 professional learning opportunities for 2025 will be shared by the end of February.
Child Safety
  • Updates on child safety training, compliance requirements, and self-audits will be sent shortly.
