Dear Community Language School Principals,
We are pleased to invite you and your teachers to register for the upcoming professional development sessions on the revised and reaccredited study designs for the VCE CCAFL languages. These sessions are essential for principals and teachers of VCE CCAFL languages, as well as secondary teachers of CCAFL languages, to ensure everyone is well-informed about the updates and requirements for the languages they are teaching or may teach in the future.
Session 1 – 7th August:
This session will provide an overview of the revised and reaccredited CCAFL study designs, focusing on Units 1 and 2. We will cover the terminology, assessment tasks, and specific requirements for each unit. For instance, we will discuss Unit 2 Area of Study 3, which has a particular focus on Australian topics.
Session 2 – 14th August:
The second session will focus on Units 3 and 4, including terminology and specific requirements, as well as coursework and assessment tasks.
